PIONEER Private Telecommunications Operator (PTO), Multi-Links Telecommunications Limited has announced new Internet-friendly plans for its subscribers.

The plan is based on a long study of usage patterns in Nigeria. It has also introduced a few new plans that are more user-friendly than the earlier options. Not only do these plans now encompass more hours, but contain elements like free weekend surfing that has caught the delight of subscribers. The new plans compare favourably with all other Internet plans available in the market from other providers.

These new plans, coupled with added bandwidth are designed to give subscribers the best Internet experience. Chief Ezekiel Fatoye, executive director, Multi-Links said “with the added bandwidth, our 3G ready network and other technological innovations, we can safely assume that the customers will get broadband quality at a cost that is much lower than existing broad band players or even other dial-up players“. “The biggest advantage,” < strong>he added … “is that we do not have dial up charges on any of our Internet plans. You pay only a rental for usage time and nothing else. No hidden costs whatsoever. In fact even the Internet cable that the customer uses to connect and the installation kit are absolutely free. This has been done so the Internet revolution will truly become a part and parcel of the life of an average Lagosian”.

From 24-hour options to weekend options, Multi-Links has now introduced plans that will allow the buyer to measure his usage according to the time and money available. In fact, the weekend packages cost as little as N1,600 a month. The 24-hour option allows a customer to stay on-line all day, 365 days a year for just N15,000 a month. Ideal for offices and people, who require or like to surf the whole day, this plan offers a cost-effective option.

Multi-Links did a study about the time patterns preferred by corporate offices and costs. This Internet plan called peak, allows an organisation to access the Internet from eight in the morning to seven in the evening for a nominal cost of N10,000 a month. This option is perfect for Small and Medium scale Enterprises (SMEs) as well as larger organisations that need Internet for their work.

For those who like to surf at home when back from work, Multi-Links has two delightful options. SunDown allows browsing from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. every day apart from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekends for free. Net Savvy package plan allows one to surf from 11 p.m. to 9 a.m. every day. At N5,000 and N6,000 a month respectively, these plans allow users to stay on-line at good cost.

For those who wake up early and like to surf the first thing in the morning before going to work or for pleasure, Multi-Links has Early Bird, a plan that allows its subscriber to surf from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. on week days and from 6 a.m. to 11 a.m. on weekends at only N3,000 a month.

Multi-Links further has a customised plan to suit all those who are too busy throughout the week and like to surf only on weekends. The Multi-Links weekend plan allows its subscribers to surf for 12 hours a day, on Saturdays and Sundays at just N1,600 a month. A truly cost effective way to be on the web.

In addition to all these plans, the company is currently running a scheme through which buying a phone for Internet surfing becomes free. When a customer pays six months advance rental for select plans, he will get a powerful feature laden LG LSP 3000 phone worth N15,000 absolutely free. Alternatively, he can pay three months advance rental on select plans and get the same phone at a subsidised cost of just N8,500. These phones are suitable for both Internet surfing and voice functions and come with N3,000 worth of free talk-time at the time of purchase. Under both options, cable for the Internet and installation kit are absolutely free.

All these cost effective plans combined with the robust and efficient service that Multi-Links has built up through the years mean only one thing – an Internet bonanza for Lagosians. Fatoye sums it up beautifully when he says: “It is the endeavour of Multi-Links to continuously add value to its services so as to make the end experience of the subscriber a memorable one. It is our mission to be a world class service provider and we will not rest till we get there. With such sentiments and drive, success can never be far behind

  1. This free weekend internet surfing offer coming from Multilinks is just too cool. I am currently using Starcomms for my Home Internet, and I am inclined to move to Multilinks especially with the possibility of paying six months rentals and getting their phone free. It’s just a question of time.

  2. Like you said, it is a question of time. I just wish all other Fixed Line operators would come up with similar enticing package. As for me, I am still undecided as to whether I should get a Multilink line or Starcomm line. So, which one will you suggest? Maybe I should wait till December before I get one as there would definitely be series of promotional offers from these Fixed Line operators.

  3. Hello Emmanuel, thanx so very much for this info. I appreciate you. I reside in Port Harcourt and would like to have one of MultiLinks Internet packages. Please, let me where exactly they have outlets/offices in Port Harcourt or Ilorin. It’s as urgent as the air I breathe right now. You may mail it to dikiboa@yahoo.com or Call 08056027053 or 07038788307. Hope to hear from you soon. God bless you richly and do have a great day.
